1 dead in suspected DUI crash in Northridge

NORTHRIDGE — A suspected DUI crash in Northridge killed one person and injured six others Saturday night.

The three-vehicle crash was reported at 7:42 p.m. on Corbin Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, Humphrey said.

A vehicle was overturned, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the crash was the result of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, Lopez said.
