One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting at a hookah lounge early Tuesday, Oct. 25, in North Hollywood.
Los Angeles police officers responded at 12:15 a.m. to the business, at 13007 Victory Blvd., west of Coldwater Canyon Avenue. They found the victims in the back of the bar, said Drake Madison, a LAPD officer and spokesman.
Witnesses told police the shooter entered the lounge and began arguing with one victim and at some point drew a gun and shot him. The second victim was shot when he attempted to intervene, Madison said.
The shooter then fled.
The condition of the second victim was not revealed.
