14 dining specials for Valentine’s Day 2023, including steak and sweets

Valentine’s Day is already here, according to several chain restaurants.

From high-end steakhouses to doughnut shops, several have already rolled out their menus and special items for the holiday, which falls on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Here is a sampling of what’s available.


Black Angus Steakhouse: A three-course meal with filet mignon and lobster tails costs $58 for two and is available through Feb. 14.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: Three-course meals with steak and seafood are available through Feb. 14. Prices range from $100-$245.

Outback Steakhouse: A four-course meal with shrimp on the barbie as a starter and a wide choice of entrees is available through Feb. 14. Prices vary.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Dinner for two includes roasted tenderloin and chocolate cake with sparkling wine. It is available through Feb. 19 at $160.

Full service

California Pizza Kitchen: The chain is offering Valentine’s meals through Feb. 14 at $40 and $50 with choice of entree. Both include heart-shaped pizzas. Wine for two is also available at $15-$22.

El Torito: Three-course meals for two cost $55 through Feb. 14.

King’s Fish House: A three-course menu includes filet mignon and lobster tail with clam chowder as a starter, according to a news release. Prices vary by location.

Norms Restaurants: Four-course menus with entrees such as sirloin steak or salmon will cost $19.99, according to a news release.

North Italia: A special prix fixe meal will be available on Feb. 14. Prices vary by location but range from $65-$70, according to a news release.

Water Grill: A four-course menu includes surf and turf. Prices vary per location but range from $135-$150, according to a news release.

Quick treats

Chick-fil-A: The chicken sandwich chain will be serving items such as chicken nuggets, Chick-n-Minis, chocolate chip cookies and brownies in heart-shaped trays until Feb. 25 or while supplies last, according to a news release. The option is available when ordering online.

Dunkin’: In addition to heart-shaped, cream-filled doughnuts, the hot coffee chain is offering a members-only Brownie Batter Signature Latte to be ordered on its app. In addition, it is partnering with Frankford Candy on doughnut-flavored chocolates and iced coffee-flavored jelly hearts to be sold in stores.

Krispy Kreme: Four heart-shaped doughnuts with Hershey’s chocolate are featured in a Valentine’s Day Dozen, according to a news release. A heart-shaped doughnut with red icing and Valentine’s Day sprinkles will be in select grocery stores through Feb. 14.

Starbucks: The coffee chain’s app is currently featuring its Pink Drink on a Valentine’s Day treat menu, along such items as brownies and Chocolate Cake Pops. The beverage can be customized with Chocolate Cold Foam through Feb. 14, according to QSR, a trade website. Ask your barista.
