Three Los Angeles police officers were injured in a shooting on Wednesday evening in the Lincoln Heights area, police said. A suspect was barricaded in building, broadcast reports said.

LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman confirmed three officers were shot and taken to a local hospital.
Information on the officers’ conditions, or information on the circumstances of the shooting, was not immediately available.
A perimeter was set up near North Mission Road and North Broadway.
