The 15-year-old girl last seen with her father after police believe he shot his wife to death in Fontana is now considered a victim of an abduction, authorities said Monday afternoon, Sept. 26.
The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for Savannah Graziano on behalf of the Fontana Police Department, according to the bulletin.
“We are concerned for the daughter’s safety as her father had just killed his wife/her mother,” said Sgt. Christian Surgent, a Fontana police spokesman, said in an email.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was killed at about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Cypress Avenue when someone fired upon her as she drove near Cypress Elementary School. As the woman left her car and ran, the shooter made a U-turn, got out of his car and shot her again, a witness said. The shooter then fled.
Graziano is described as 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees her or her father is asked to call 911.
