Oak Park 68, Royal 35: Trey McDonald tallied 19 points, six assists and five steals, and Isaiah Sherrard added 13 points for the Eagles in their Coastal Canyon League opener. Drew Romano had 12 points for Royal.

Simi Valley 84, Moorpark 55: Ryder Mjoen led the Pioneers with 20 points in a Canyon League victory.

St Genevieve 43, St Monica 61: St. Genevieve fell to 9-9 despite 19 points and six rebounds from Blas Molina.

Pilibos 74, YULA 73 (2OT): Anto Balian, a standout sophomore, led Pilibos with 27 points.

St. Francis 66, El Camino Real 48: Mazi Mosley led the Golden Knights with 14 points and Jackson Mosley added 12. St. Francis plays its Mission League opener Friday against Crespi.

Grant 63, Brentwood College Prep (Canada) 55: Dilyn Martin led the Lancers with 21 points, made four 3-pointers and had 12 rebounds. DJ Gains added 18 points.

Venice 92, San Fernando 34: Braulio Bustillo had 25 points for San Fernando in its loss.
