Chad Kauha’aha’a announced on Twitter that he will not return to the UCLA football program as its defensive line coach.
Kauha’aha’a stated that he plans to “pursue other opportunities.” Coach Chip Kelly hired Kauha’aha’a in December of 2021.
Prior to joining UCLA, the veteran coach spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons with UNLV as an assistant coach. He’s previously coached at Boise State, Oregon State, Utah and Utah State.
I have parted ways from UCLA to pursue other opportunities. I appreciate the hard work of the players I had the opportunity to coach and the friendships made on the staff!
