Two-time Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff has been named the highest-paid female athlete of the year by Forbes, earning a reported $33 million, the fourth-highest single-year total ever for a woman in sports. Gauff trails only the 2021 earnings of tennis legends Naomi Osaka ($57.3 million) and Serena Williams ($45.9 million), and narrowly below her own 2022 total of $34.4 million, after leading women athletes with $22.7 million in 2023. Forbes reports that $8 million of Gauff’s income came on the court, while $25 million flowed from endorsements, led by long-standing deals with New Balance, Head rackets, Bose, Meta and Ray-Ban smart glasses, American Eagle, Miu Miu, Carol’s Daughter, Mercedes-Benz, and Rolex.
