Condolences pour in following fatal shooting of Riverside County deputy

A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed Thursday afternoon, Dec. 29, on a residential street near Rustic Lane Elementary School in the Rubidoux neighborhood of Jurupa Valley during a traffic stop.

Following the shooting, condolences poured in on social media from public safety agencies and others offering condolences to the deputy’s family and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
