Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,058 more cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,461,037 as of Wednesday, Oct. 5.
Officials reported 10 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 33,719 deaths since tracking began.
There was onw fewer hospitalization since Monday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 507.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,069,305 doses administered.
