Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,288 more cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,451,726 as of Tuesday, Sept 27.
Officials reported 12 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 33,576 deaths since tracking began.
There were 79 fewer hospitalizations since Friday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 496.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,748,708 doses administered.
