Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,822 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,462,836 as of Thursday, Oct. 6.
Officials reported 12 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 33,730 deaths since tracking began.
There were nine more hospitalization since Wednesday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 516.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,115,134 doses administered.
