Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 2,339 more cases and 33 more deaths, Oct. 19

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 2,339 more cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,472,708 as of Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Officials reported 33 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 33,862 deaths since tracking began.

There were 67 fewer hospitalization since Friday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 379.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,249,218 doses administered.
