Cruel World 2023: Siouxsie, Iggy Pop, Billy Idol top the lineup in Pasadena

Goldenvoice’s Cruel World Festival will return to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday, May 20 and will feature performances by Siouxsie, Iggy Pop, Billy Idol, Love and Rockets, Adam Ant, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Human League and more.

The event will mark Siouxsie’s first North American performance in 15 years and serve as the grand return for Love and Rockets since the band last performed on stage together in 2008.

Fans can register for tickets starting at noon on Friday, Jan. 27 at cruelworldfest.com. Payment plans are available and start at $49.99 down. General admission starts at $159; general admission-plus starts at $249; VIP passes begin at $399; and Clubhouse passes start at $799. Hotel and ticket bundles are available as well, starting at $329.

The bill also includes sets from Molchat Doma, Gary Numan, Boy Harsher, Modern English, Gang of Four, Twin Tribes, ABC, Ela Minus, The Vapors, The Soft Moon, The Motels, Glass Spells, Animotion, Gvllow, Riki, Urban Heat and Aurat.

Last year, Cruel World took place on one of the hottest days, which had New Wave and goth fans melting in the hot sun, but they enjoyed sets by Morrissey, Blondie, Devo, the Psychedelic Furs, Bauhaus and more.
