Noteworthy: Wijay, a Texas A&M commit, led the Warriors in their quarterfinal and semifinal wins over South Pasadena and Edison, respectively, last week en route to this Saturday’s CIF Southern Section Division 3 title game. Wijay had 16 kills and 10 digs in a sweep before notching 23 kills and 20 digs with five aces in a four-set win over Edison. Alemany will take on Oaks Christian for the second straight year in a rematch of last year’s Division 3 final, a match the Warriors won in five sets.
