Regional Mexican band Grupo Firme has had tremendous success in 2022.
Following a win for best banda album at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards, the band, which formed in Tijuana in 2014, began selling out arena and stadium shows thanks to the popularity of hits like “Ya Supérame (En Vivo),” “El Tóxico,” “En Tu Perra Vida,” and “Gracias – En Vivo.” This year, they were part of a diverse lineup of Latin artists that performed both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio in April, and they sold out SoFi Stadium in Inglewood in May.
Grupo Firme will now return to SoFi Stadium, becoming the first artist to come back to the venue for consecutive years, on May 27, 2023. There are several presales, including an artist presale from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19-10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. Details for that can be found at grupofirme.mx. Remaining tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Ticketmaster.com.
The septet will also be one of the first to break in the all-new $300 million, 11,000-seat Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms as it brings its Enfiestados Y Amanecidos Arena Tour to the venue on Dec. 16. There are still a few dozen tickets available to that performance available, starting at $139 at Ticketmaster.com.
