Heavy rain closes Knott’s Berry Farm for second time in a week

Heavy rain powered by a band of relentless storms has forced Knott’s Berry Farm to close its gates for the second time in less than a week after Six Flags Magic Mountain closed the day before due to bad weather.

Knott’s will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 10 due to inclement weather, according to the Buena Park theme park’s official Twitter account. The park was last rained out on Jan. 5.

Magic Mountain closed on Monday, Jan. 9 due to bad weather after a rain day the week before.

A strong storm system lashing Southern California has triggered flooding and a federal emergency declaration for California.

Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego and Legoland California remained open despite the rain showers throughout Southern California.
