How to get cheap wings and other snacks for the Super Bowl

People like to stock up on snacks for the Super Bowl, and several restaurant chains are eager to help out with specials on catering, chicken wings or pizza.

Here are some of the offers that are out there. Check websites for restrictions, and if in doubt seek help from restaurant staff members.

Applebee’s: The full-service chain is offering 20 free boneless wings with any online or mobile order more than $40 for pickup or delivery on Feb. 12, according to its website. Promo code is BIGGAME23. applebees.com

Black Angus Steakhouse: A Tailgate Platter for six costs $36.99 plus tax and include loaded potato skins, spinach and artichoke dip, fried zucchini and chicken tenders. blackangus.com

Buffalo Wild Wings: Blazin’ Rewards members who make a $25-plus pre-order for Sunday by Feb. 11 can get free six wings on their next order, according to the chain’s website. Also, if Sunday’s game goes into overtime, the chain will give one free order of six boneless or traditional wings to anyone who wants to visit a restaurant to claim it. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: There are several catering packs for the game including a Big Yellow Box and Ribs, which includes 24 wings, 18 ribs, mac and cheese, cole slaw, rolls and barbecue sauce. Prices vary by location, but several are in the $169 range. dickeys.com

Miguel’s Jr.: Customers can get 15% off catering orders for pickup on Feb. 12 with the promo code 15OFF, according to social media posts by the Corona-based chain. miguelsjr.com

Round Table Pizza: A large Double Play Pepperoni Pizza will cost $21.99 at participating locations on Feb. 12, according to a news release. roundtablepizza.com
