Joe Biden’s a lying hypocrite? Shocker.

Just a few months ago, President Joe Biden expressed bewilderment amid news former President Donald Trump kept classified documents at his Florida Mar-a-Lago estate.

“How that could possibly happen, how anyone could be that irresponsible?” he asked in a 60 Minutes interview last September.

Fast forward a few months, and Team Biden is dealing with reports that Biden likewise kept classified documents in multiple locations, including in his garage at home.

In a reminder that the Democratic Party has more than its fair share of cranks, Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Georgia, baselessly speculated in Biden’s defense that the documents might’ve been planted to set Biden up.

Democrats always seem ready to invoke the old “vast right-wing conspiracy” when they’ve been caught.

Even so, the hypocrisy of the situation is on full display. The optics are terrible, however this particular scandal plays out. It makes for some level of entertainment, at the very least.

It’s hardly the first time Biden’s been a total hypocrite, obviously.

On the debate stage with Trump, Biden had no problem saying, “220,000 Americans dead. If you hear nothing else I say tonight, hear this: … Anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America.”

By his own logic, he should’ve resigned a long time ago given the number of COVID deaths on his watch.

As a candidate, Biden also condemned Trump for deporting Venezuelan refugees fleeing socialism, saying, “It’s abundantly clear he has no regard for the suffering of the Venezuelan people.” Except his administration has done the same.

Besides being a hypocrite, though, it’s time for Americans to remind themselves about the reality of who Joe Biden is and who he has been all along.

Joe Biden simply isn’t a credible person.

One could even call him the Original George Santos.

This is the same Joe Biden, after all, who had to drop out of the 1988 presidential race because of a decades-long pattern of deception.

This includes his tall tales about having marched during the civil rights movement. And of course lying about going to law school on a full-scholarship and graduating in the “top half” of his law school class He didn’t have a full-ride and he graduated near the bottom. Oh and who could forget about the plagiarism?

These days, Biden’s tendency to mislead the public is seen as somehow innocuous, even a part of his charm (or so the spin goes). Like his story in December about giving his uncle a Purple Heart as vice president. Except his uncle had died in 1999, and no media outlet could even find evidence Biden ever tried to posthumously award a Purple Heart to his late uncle.

OK, maybe that’s just another  creative story like his civil rights activism. What’s the harm (besides signaling cognitive decline of the guy with the nuclear codes)?

But Biden lies about more consequential things too. Like in October, when speaking to a group of young activists, he said they were “probably are aware, I just signed a law” about student loan debt forgiveness. “It’s passed,” he said. “I got it passed by a vote or two, and it’s in effect.” That wasn’t true, obviously. Biden’s student loan debt forgiveness plan was implemented by executive action and was never once put up for a vote in Congress.

And so it goes with Joe Biden.

It should surprise no one that Biden’s fundamental incompetence is catching up with him. The Democrats better ditch him and try to find someone better.
