Vice President Kamala Harris will do the honors of swearing in six-term congresswoman this Sunday as the first and the second Black to be elected mayor of the City of Los Angeles. Harris endorsed Bass in her bid to become the city’s 43rd mayor.
The ceremony on Sunday will be held in front of the Spring Street entrance to City Hall and is set to commence at 11:30am. Those looking to attend can reserve a spot at mobilize.us/karenbass.
In the meantime, the Office of Mayor-elect Karen Bass has launched an online hiring portal for people desirous of work in her new administration the following personal appeal:
