Man, 32, killed on 110-to-10 freeway transition near downtown LA

LOS ANGELES — Authorities identified a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle and killed Tuesday morning on the transition road from the southbound 110 Freeway to the westbound 10 Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.

Gerardo Rodriguez Lopez, 32, was identified as the pedestrian who was killed, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

The collision occurred about 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Lopez died at the scene. His city of residency was not immediately known.
