A man was shot at the South Bay Galleria on Saturday, March 11 and police are seeking the gunman.
The shooting occurred around 2:00 p.m. on the east side of the Redondo Beach mall and appeared to be an isolated situation, according to Sgt. Salvador Garcia. Authorities did not recover a firearm at the scene and are currently looking for the shooter, believed to be a man.
No description of him was available.
The victim had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital, Garcia said. It was not immediately clear whether he and the shooter knew one another.
