He attributed his condition to years of heavy drinking and partying, which he says have taken a severe toll on his heart. Ray J has previously revealed that his heart is currently functioning at just 25 percent capacity. Reflecting on his past lifestyle, he admitted to drinking multiple bottles in a single night and feeling invincible, before acknowledging that the long-term effects ultimately caught up with him.
Ray J also said he plans to travel to Haiti in approximately two weeks in hopes of finding a treatment that could prolong his life, underscoring the seriousness of his condition despite ongoing instability in the country and U.S. State Department warnings advising against travel there. He ended his message by expressing gratitude to his parents and his sister, Brandy, whom he said has been helping support him financially.
