ALTer Ego’s 2022 installment sold out quickly, despite there being lingering concerns about a last-minute cancellation or artists dropping off the lineup due to the pandemic. It went on as scheduled, with safety protocols in place as fans had to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test and wear face masks indoors for the duration of the concert. The lineup included sets by Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon, Twenty One Pilots, All Time Low, Willow and Måneskin.

As COVID-19 cases dropped, the venue eased its protocols and proof of vaccination and face masks are no longer required.
