After a rainy, yet successful multi-day festival earlier this month, Same Same But Different announced the dates for its 2023 event and put discounted tickets on sale.
The festival, which takes place annually at Moreno Beach inside Lake Perris State Park, will return for its fifth year Sept. 21-24, 2023. Early bird four-day tickets are $265; VIP four-day tickets are $440; up-front gold camping passes are also available for $185. All tickets are available now at ssbdfest.com.
Same Same But Different is a multi-stage experience that encompasses a variety of music, with EDM and funk typically leading the charge. Workshops on yoga, meditation and other wellness subjects are also part of the festival.
This year’s lineup included an eclectic bunch with Tipper, Griz and Chromeo topping the bill. Though Hurricane Kay brought rain and lightning down on the crowd on the first day, most embraced it and partied on in the rain. The weather caused a few delays, but for the most part is was business as usual with a beach dance party courtesy of Justin Jay, a stripped down turn from Neil Frances and a chill set from Brothertiger.
The lineup for Same Same But Different 2023 has not yet been announced.
