Sherman Oaks Street Fair revived after two-year hiatus to the delight of thousands on Ventura Boulevard

Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce presented its 30th Sherman Oaks Street Fair on Sunday along a stretch of Ventura Boulevard between Kester Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard.

The event, with free admission, included carnival rides, comics and pop culture zone, a silent disco, entertainment on the main and community stages, a pet zone, a cocktail lounge, food trucks and vendor marketplace.

“There is a huge pent-up demand for family-friendly, outdoor entertainment so we are excited to bring back the Sherman Oaks Street Fair after a two-year hiatus to celebrate its 30th anniversary,” said Sherman Oaks Chamber CEO Vickie Bourdas Martinez, in a press release.

“People come from all over Los Angeles to sample the foods; enjoy beer, wine and cocktails; and shop from among the wonderful artists and craftspeople for fun and unusual items. A lot of folks start their Christmas shopping early at our fair. We are lucky to have the continued support of not only our community but communities across the Valley. Individuals, families, schools, non-profits and businesses all come out for the street fair.”
