Sprouts grocery chain seeking workers for new Norwalk store

The job fair was scheduled to continue on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the hotel, located at 13111 Sycamore Drive. More information is available at about.sprouts.com/careers/hiring-events/.
The new Sprouts store, scheduled to open March 3, will be located at 11522 Alondra Blvd., not far from Excelsior High School and down the street from Cerritos College.
Among the positions the store seeks to fill are cashiers and sales clerks as well as department managers and assistant department managers.
Sprouts employs approximately 31,000 team members and operates approximately 380 stores in 23 states nationwide, according to its website.
There are more than a dozen Sprouts stores in the greater Los Angeles area, including sites in Cerritos, Lakewood, Pasadena and Monrovia.
The supermarket chain, based on Phoenix, operates stores featuring produce, as well as whole grains, nuts, meats, cheese, bakery items and some traditional supermarket items. The retailer aims for market segment of customers seeking fresh, organic and unprocessed or minimally processed foods. Options include non-GMO, vegetarian, vegan and plant-based products.
Among its rivals in the marketplace are Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
