UCLA vs. Arizona basketball updates: Adem Bona ruled out with shoulder injury

Jaime Jaquez Jr. and the UCLA men’s basketball team will compete against the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Tournament championship game tonight.

Forward Adem Bona will miss tonight’s game against Arizona, after suffering a left shoulder injury against Oregon on Friday. Bona, the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, is expected back next week for the start of the NCAA Tournament.

The Bruins are already without their best defender, Jaylen Clark, who suffered an Achilles injury in the regular season finale.

A victory for the Bruins could strengthen their case to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Arizona advanced to the tournament finals after a victory over rival Arizona State.
