Universal Studios Hollywood will ring in 2023 with its EVE New Year’s Eve celebration with live music, fireworks, party favors and access to select rides and attractions within the theme park all night long.
The event kicks off at 9 p.m. and runs through 2 a.m. Jan. 1. The event is included with theme park admission. During the day, guests can enjoy all the regular theme park fare and at 9 p.m., the park will transition into a park-wide New Year’s Eve party with a special midnight countdown.
There will be several entertainment hubs located throughout the park featuring DJs spinning a variety of music — rock, pop, country, Latin, hip-hop and EDM — for partygoers to dance along to. Several NYE-themed photo backdrops will be set up around the park and when the clock strikes midnight, there will be a flurry of snow, bursts of confetti and a massive fireworks display visible from the designated party areas.
A selection of food and beverages, including desserts, champagne, beer, wine and cocktails will also be available for purchase, along with event memorabilia.
The theme park will still be fully decked out in holiday decor and running its “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts” light display inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and lighting up the Grinchmas Tree inside the Universal Plaza.
