Updated NBA career scoring leaders, with LeBron James now on top

The Lakers’ LeBron James supplanted Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on Tuesday night as the new NBA record holder for career points. With his 38-point night against Oklahoma City game, James now has 38,390 points and seems likely to spend at least a few more seasons padding his lead on any future challengers to the throne.
