When will it start raining hard in LA County?

Get ready for rain.

It has already started sprinkling Tuesday morning in Los Angeles County communities, and heavier downpours are coming, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS’ latest Rain Timing & Intensity report says LA County can expect light rain until noon Tuesday, moderate rain between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday, and heavy rain between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Rain will become moderate from Wednesday morning through noon, dropping to light rain from noon through midnight.

No rain is forecast Thursday.
