Winter Fest OC returns to an in-person event, discount tickets on sale now

Producers of the annual Winter Fest OC announced that it will return to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa select dates Nov. 25-Jan. 1. Though converted to a drive-thru experience in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, Winter Fest OC will be an in-person, festival-style event in 2022.

They’re also offering a special early bird flash sale that begins today, Oct. 17, and runs through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 for those who sign up for Winter Fest OC email notifications at winterfestoc.com.

Single-day general admission tickets are on sale for $16.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3-12 (regularly $30 for adults and $25 for children); season passes are $36.95 for adults and $31.95 for children ages 3-12 (normally $60 for adults and $46 for children). Early bird single-day tickets are good for any day of Winter Fest OC.

Add-on and VIP options will be available starting Nov. 1. Regular add-on options include ice skating ($18), Snoflake Summit ice tubing slide ($15), unlimited carnival rides ($30), ice bumper cars ($10) and mini golf ($15). VIP add-ons include a VIP fireside lounge ($20), VIP cabana reservations ($99) and VIP Snowflake Summit ice tubing slide ($25).

The fairgrounds will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland with oversize holiday décor, more than a million twinkling lights and costumed characters roaming to meet and greet with guests. There is an immersive North Pole Journey, ice skating, a 150-foot long ice tubing slide, carnival-style games and rides, a snowboard simulator, photo ops with Santa Claus and lots of festive holiday-themed food and beverages for sale.
