Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 980 more cases and nine more deaths, Oct. 25

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 980 more cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,482,181 as of Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Officials reported nine more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 33,924 deaths since tracking began.

There were 17 fewer patients since Friday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 375.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 20,359,534 doses administered.
