Everyone Everywhere’s reactions to this year’s Oscars

The 95th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood this Sunday. While the ceremony itself wasn’t as eventful as last year’s there was still plenty for viewers to talk about at home.

Before the ceremony began, there was some fun on the champagne-colored carpet, including Ed Begley Jr and his daughter, Hayden Carson Begley, sharing that they took the subway.

Hayden has recently started a daily vlog series on TikTok where she only takes public transportation to get around Los Angeles.

Florence Pugh got the meme treatment when it came to her outfit. Some couldn’t help but draw a comparison on how the Valentino Couture look resembled a duvet.

When it came time for the ceremony to begin, Los Angeles residents were relieved to turn on their TVs to find out the two F-18s they heard flying over Hollywood were part of the show.

Are these fighter jets circling LA right now a TOP GUN MAVERICK Oscars stunt or should we be worried lol

Not everyone was a fan of Kimmel’s mid-show bit of asking attendees questions from viewers at home, however, many loved Malala Yousafzai’s response to being asked about whether or not Harry Styles spat on Chris Pine last year.

Many were quick to note how significant it was that Halle Berry presented the Best Actress category, as Michelle Yeoh and Berry are the only two actresses of color to win the award.
