Free meals and dining discounts for military on Veterans Day 2022

From breakfast to dinner, restaurant chains are offering free meals and discounts to former and active members of the U.S. military on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

These offers require vald military identification or proof of service. Check the details before you go.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: The chain is partnering with Dr Pepper to offer current and former military personnel a free meal with a Dr Pepper beverage on Nov. 11. The Veterans Day menu features 10 entrees, including a Bacon-Guacamole Deluxe Burger, Deep Dish Ziti, spaghetti and meatballs and a crispy chicken sandwich.

Black Angus Steakhouse: The chain is offering a free 6-ounce steak lunch noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 11 at all its locations, according to a news release. The invitation is for current and past members of the military. The offer is not available to-go.

Charleys Philly Steaks: The sandwich shop is offering veterans and active military an order of free gourmet fries on Nov. 11. The fries are topped with cheese sauce, ranch dressing and bacon crumbles.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: The chain is giving a free pulled pork sandwich to active and retired military on Nov. 11. The offer is valid for dine-in, carry-out or app purchases with the code VETFREE, according to Dickey’s website.

Farmer Boys: The Riverside-based chain is offering veterans and active military members a free Big Cheese burger on Nov. 11.

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: Veterans and active military can choose choose a free meal from four entrees: a pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork plate, fried chicken or barbecued chicken sandwich on Veterans Day, according to a news release. The offer is good for dine-in and takeout only. They can also receive a $10 Thank You For Your Service Bonus Card.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews: Veterans and active military can get a Free Red’s Tavern Double with Bottomless Steak Fries when they dine in on Nov. 11.

Smashburger: Service members and veterans get a free burger or sandwich on Veterans Day. Check the chain’s website for participating locations.

Wendy’s: Current or former members of the U.S. Military can get a free breakfast combo, which includes a breakfast sandwich, potatoes and coffee or a soft drink, 6:30-10:30 a.m. on Nov. 11, according to a news release.
