‘Game of Thrones’ Live Concert Experience returns to the Hollywood Bowl in 2023

Composer Ramin Djawadi will revive his “Game of Thrones” Live Concert Experience for a single night at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in May 2023, he announced Tuesday.

Djawadi, a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work on “Game of Thrones,” originally developed the live show as a way to give fans the thrill of hearing his scores performed by a live orchestra accompanied by visuals from or inspired by the HBO fantasy series.

From 2017 to 2019 Djawadi toured with the production, playing more than 100 dates in North American and European arenas.

Now he’s bringing it back for what is billed as a special encore event at the Hollywood Bowl for one night only on May 13, 2023.

“Performing ‘Game of Thrones’ Live at the Hollywood Bowl is a very special experience,” Djawadi said in a written statement announcing the show. “This concert has been such an amazing ride and being able to share it with the incredible GoT fans is a blast.”

The immersive concert will feature Djawadi conducting the Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra performing music from across the eight seasons of “Game of Thrones,” including its title theme music and pieces such as “Light of the Seven,” “The Night King,” and more.

While the orchestra plays the big screens at the Hollywood Bowl will display visuals with live fireworks and pyrotechnics interspersed.

Tickets go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at LiveNation.com.
