Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg is bringing his life story to the big screen in 2027. The film will chronicle the rise of Calvin Broadus Jr. to global superstardom, following in the tradition of Straight Outta Compton, which spotlighted his West Coast peers. “After my brothers got to tell their story, now it’s my turn,” Snoop said. Actor Jonathan Daviss will portray Snoop in the feature, which promises an unfiltered look at his journey and, according to the rap star, will be rated R. “If we gonna do a Snoop Dogg movie, I gotta get gangster with it.”
